Stacy is an LA based freelance creative editor and motion graphic artist. His client roster includes ad agencies, post houses, design shops, production companies, television networks, film studios, and streaming media services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and MAX.
For nearly a decade he was an in-house editor, motion graphic artist, and post supervisor for the world-renowned SF ad agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, working on such accounts as HP, Comcast, Sprint, Saturn, NBA, and the Got Milk? campaign. Upon returning to LA in 2009, Stacy was the senior editor and main title sequence creator for fellow GSP alum Steve Dildarian’s HBO animated comedy series The Life & Times of Tim. Stacy was also the series editor and editorial supervisor for director Tim Miller’s Emmy-winning Netflix animated anthology Love, Death + Robots, for which he won an Annie Award for Best Editing (TV/Media) in 2020.
Stacy currently specializes in creative editorial for commercials and short-form, narrative comedy, high-volume social media campaigns for major brands, as well as editorial supervision and vfx editorial for 2D/3D heavy projects. He is available to take on collaborative and autonomous workloads remotely from start to finish and/or host live sessions with agency creatives and brand clients at their facility of choice.
